    Demotions

    General Demoting Criteria:

    • Violation of the program's code of conduct, including inappropriate behavior or communication.
    • If a Vara Ambassador is consistently inactive for over a month without prior notification or explanation, 50 points will automatically be deducted from their total score. A score lower than 0 results in removal from the program.
    • If an Ambassador doesn’t resume activity after receiving two reminder emails to resume activity on the Ambassador Portal.
    • Repeated failure to follow program guidelines and instructions.

    30 days of inactivity

After 30 days of inactivity, the ambassador’s points are reset to zero for their current rank. This means the ambassador will need to earn all the required points again to progress.

    60 days of inactivity

If inactivity reaches 60 days, the ambassador will be downgraded to the next lower rank. This downgrade affects not only their status but also the benefits and rewards associated with their previous rank.

    90 days of inactivity

If the ambassador remains inactive for 90 days, they will be removed from the ambassador program entirely. This is the most severe penalty, and the ambassador will lose all benefits and their place in the program.

    Demoting Process:

    • Review Period: Vara Ambassadors undergo a 15-day review period before demotion. During this time, concerns are communicated, allowing Vara Ambassadors to address the issues on a case-by-case basis.
    • Feedback and Improvement Plan: Constructive feedback and open communication will be practiced to establish clear expectations.
    • Clear Communication: The demotion decision, its reasons, and any steps the Vara Ambassador may take to regain their previous level or improve their standing will be clearly explained.
Note: Demotion of an Apprentice results in removal from the program as there is no level below that.
